2-1, 2-2 movement and music: last-but-one pre-tech run of #WLYC
Last but one run-through before we begin teching on Monday.
A section of music (written by Derek Nisbet and played live by David Colvin & Karen Fisher-Pollard) where there’s much football-type action (choreographed by Vanessa Cook) going on – but you’ll just have to imagine that bit for now…

We Love You City #WLYC set fit-up @belgradetheatre begins today…
This is the first show in the Belgrade’s B2 auditorium to use the “short-traverse” set up. So first, the usual seating arrangement had to be struck and then the stage crew levelled the auditorium floor. Once that was done the set could come out of the van and into the theatre. Dancefloor down first, then steel frameworks into position, with only a few hiccups…Cast are due to rehearse onstage tomorrow and for the rest of the week, with lighting being rigged and focussed around them. Teching begins next Monday.

Apologies that this is only taken on a mobile phone…
The music (by Derek Nisbet) is being played live by David & Karen from the cast – that’s right – we have 2 pianos as well as a cast of 11 on stage!
The Belgrade has a blog specifically about WE LOVE YOU CITY which you can find at http://weloveyoucity.tumblr.com/
We haven’t won yet, but we haven’t lost yet either. #wlyc
